Schule in Luther College

Within my third week going to Luther College I’ve got used to the school system and started to actively participate in the lessons. Especially in math’s and chemistry lessons, which are very interesting.

On Sunday Lachlan – my exchange partner – and I took a train into the city center of Melbourne to visit the open day at RMIT University. We listened to a short presentation about the different degrees in IT and computer science offered at RMIT.

After this we walked through the city for about 10 minutes to finally reach the “Queen Victoria Market”. I marveled how big the market was and that it’s open every weekend.

There are great food sections selling fresh meat and fish, many restaurants, wide clothing areas and plenty of small stalls offering different food.

Before I got fried rice from a Chinese restaurant for lunch, I tried macarons for the first time. They were absolutely delicious!
